Unfortunately we have had to postpone the 2023 Gravel Nationals, A new date will be confirmed for 2024. This is due to an issue with land owners consent for a portion of the course.

Make it a one-day trip or stay for the full weekend, you’ll experience some of the finest awesome gravel routes the Waikato offers.
New to NZ, the 110km (2448m of climbing) and 61km (1364m of climbing) Gravel Nationals route promises a tough gravel loop that will test the best, with awards also available for age groups. Held on the same day, the Gravel Fondo will use the 61km course.
Based from the small rural community of Raglan, all routes lead onto the gravel playground between Te Mata, Te Uku and Raglan, where you’ll be rewarded with glimpses of the coast, wind turbines as you navigate the regions rough rolling gravel back roads.
We will reveal the routes nearer to the event date, but watch out for a series of taster videos that will not only introduce certain parts of the course, but will offer advice on bike choice, what to pack, and nutrition.
NOTE: As part of the courses are on private property we will not reveal courses until just prior the event. We will publish part courses.
